DUMPSTERPILOT FIELD NOTES

Keep your next reservation honest

An expected return date is a plan. An empty container in the yard is physical availability.

Track the physical container

Give every container an identifier. “Three 20-yard bins” is a count; BL-003 at a particular job site is an asset record your dispatcher can act on.

Leave room for the return cycle

Pickup is not the same as ready to rent. A loaded container may still need disposal, inspection or repair. DumpsterPilot keeps it unavailable until disposal is recorded and the owner confirms its return.

Treat swaps as two movements

Reserve the replacement container before collecting the original. Keep their records linked while recording each physical movement separately. Cancelling a replacement should never erase the old rental’s history.
