DUMPSTERPILOT FIELD NOTES

Turn scale tickets into clear final invoices

Connect the physical disposal record to the rental’s weight allowance and cost.

Check the units

DumpsterPilot records US short tons. If a scale ticket uses pounds, divide by 2,000; if it uses another unit, convert it before entering the values. Enter gross and tare weights; net weight is their difference.

Keep the supporting record

Record the facility, ticket number, disposal date and charge. A photo can preserve the original ticket alongside the rental. Duplicate ticket numbers for the same facility are rejected.

Review before issuing

The final invoice adds the captured base rate, additional days, additional tons and recorded fees, plus the configured tax percentage. Review the result and the customer’s agreed terms before sending the invoice. Invoicing locks the rental’s weight and fee ledger.
